There are five key questions to help business owners gain clarity of purpose, said sales trainer Joe Pici.

“The first three questions are, what is it that you want, when do you want it, and why do you want it,” said Pici to the members of the Freedom Club men’s community, hosted by Sedona, AZ-based CEO and coach Curt Mercadante.

“So, for example, if you have a business, what type of income do you want this business to generate? Make this quantifiable,” he said. “The second thing is when do you want to accomplish it. So now you want to put a timeline on that, which is vital, because your timeline dictates how hard you work.”

Since 1992, Pici, the COO and Co-Founder or Orlando, FL-based Pici & Pici, Inc.,  has served as a "catalyst for sales teams and individuals," according to Global Gurus, helping them sharpen their skills for creating appointments and closing sales through his live phone call workshops.

“The fourth question is what am I willing to do and the fifth question, and here lies the success is, what am I not willing to do?” Pici said. “Once you have those five questions in place, that’s going to dictate how hard you work, how hard you want to work.”

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 64 percent of small business owners with employees said their motivation for owning a business is being their own boss and having greater income.

Fifty-six percent of these business owners felt starting their own business “was the best avenue for their ideas to create goods and services.”

“If what you're doing is gonna not get you where you wanna go, you either have to change where you wanna go, or you have to change how you're gonna get there,” Pici said.

The Freedom Circle men’s community is run by Sedona, Arizona-based CEO, entrepreneur, and author, Curt Mercadante. Mercadante is CEO of Advantage Informatics, LLC, and founder of Freedom Rising Enterprises. He is author of the bestselling book, Five Pillars of the Freedom Lifestyle

Pici will be joining the Freedom Club again on March 21, 2023 for a presentation called, “20 Surefire Tips for Entrepreneurs.”
