CITY OF WELLINGTON: Community Conversation: Exploring Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging

City of Wellington issued the following announcement on Nov. 9

Wellington invites residents to take part in another community conversation to engage in a dialogue on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The goal is to bring the community together to gain insights on best practices and share personal experiences.

The conversation will take place via the Zoom platform on Saturday, November 14th from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. The event is free and open to Village residents, but seating is limited to allow for maximum participation.  Attendees must register through  Wellington's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging webpage. Additional dates may be scheduled depending upon interest.  

Senior Diversity Executive & Leadership consultant, K. Michael Slater, Wellington’s Human Resources Director, Kim Gibbons, and Deputy Village Manager, Jim Barnes will facilitate each conversation.
