South Florida Athletics announced on April 16 that it will host the Bulls Coaches Tour presented by Shumaker, with stops planned in Tampa, Sarasota, and St. Petersburg during May. The events will feature appearances from several USF head coaches as well as Rob Higgins, CEO of Athletics.

The tour is designed to connect South Florida fans with the university’s athletic leaders and provide updates on the future direction of Bulls Athletics. New head coaches Brian Hartline (football), Kristy Curry (women’s basketball), and Chris Mack (men’s basketball) are scheduled to participate in panel discussions alongside Higgins at each event.

According to USF Athletics, the tour will begin on Friday, May 8 at the University Student Center Ballrooms on the USF St. Petersburg campus. Additional stops include Wednesday, May 13 at the Student Center Ballroom on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus and Thursday, May 14 at Auditorium 240 in USF Health Morsani College of Medicine in downtown Tampa. Each hour-long event costs $20 per ticket and includes a curated selection of food and beverages.

“We’re incredibly excited to connect with Bulls fans across Tampa Bay and personally introduce you to the outstanding leaders who drive our South Florida Athletics programs,” Higgins said. “This is a great opportunity to share our vision for the future of Bulls Athletics, celebrate the remarkable achievements of the past year, and come together with the passionate supporters who make our success possible.”

USF sponsors 21 varsity teams—20 competing at NCAA Division I level within The American Athletic Conference—and has recently added women’s lacrosse and women’s beach volleyball programs. As reported by USF Athletics, nearly 500 student-athletes train at facilities located on campus grounds in Tampa; collectively they have won a total of 154 conference titles across various sports since joining The American Athletic Conference in 2013.

Academically, student-athletes have maintained a combined GPA above 3.0 for a record-setting streak spanning over ten years as of fall semester 2025; more than 800 athletes have earned their degrees since 2015.

Tickets for all events can be purchased through official channels including phone or email contact options provided by South Florida Athletics.
