The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a prominent small business advocacy group in Florida, has announced the initial endorsements from its Florida PAC for candidates in the upcoming state legislative elections. This state-wide PAC consists of NFIB members who have reviewed the candidates.
"Florida's small business owners know the importance of electing candidates that will prioritize the small business economy and we believe this group of candidates will do just that,” stated Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director. He emphasized the candidates' understanding of key issues for NFIB members and their commitment to pro-growth policies. "The NFIB Florida PAC is proud to endorse them and we’re confident they will be strong advocates for Florida’s small business owners in the legislature."
The endorsements include candidates for both the Florida Senate and House. Endorsed candidates for the Senate are Tom Leek (District 7), Keith Truenow (District 13), Randy Fine (District 19), and Ed Hooper (District 21). In the House, the endorsed candidates are Sam Greco (District 19), Judson Sapp (District 20), Erika Booth (District 35), Brad Yeager (District 56), James Buchanan (District 74), Dana Trabulsy (District 84), and Fabian Basabe (District 106).
The NFIB Florida PAC sees its endorsement as a key signal to voters that a candidate is supportive of small businesses and the local economy in Florida.
