The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a prominent advocate for small businesses in Florida, has announced its Florida PAC's initial endorsements for candidates running in the upcoming state legislative elections. These endorsements are part of NFIB's efforts to support candidates who prioritize the interests of small business owners.
Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director, stated, "Florida’s small business owners know the importance of electing candidates that will prioritize the small business economy and we believe this group of candidates will do just that." He further emphasized that these candidates are committed to pro-growth policies beneficial to NFIB members.
The endorsed candidates for the Senate include Tom Leek for District 7, Keith Truenow for District 13, Randy Fine for District 19, and Ed Hooper for District 21. In the House races, Sam Greco is endorsed for District 19, Judson Sapp for District 20, Erika Booth for District 35, Brad Yeager for District 56, James Buchanan for District 74, Dana Trabulsy for District 84, and Fabian Basabe for District 106.
According to NFIB Florida PAC, these endorsements serve as a significant indicator to voters that the supported candidates are expected to champion small business interests and contribute positively to Florida's local economy.
