National Hispanic Heritage Month, the anniversary of independence for five Latin American countries, begins on September 15 and is celebrated through October 15. During the month, the County recognizes the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States and celebrates their heritage and culture. Did you know that nearly 20% of our employees are of Hispanic/Latinx origin?
