Our last stop of the day for the Commission Day Tour

COMMISSION DAY (3 of 3)

Our last stop of the day for the Commission Day tour was the Camp Margaritaville RV Resort. The site was formerly called the Cabana Club RV Resort and was rebranded in January 2022. The resort reports that they have seen a lot of success in the past year. Just last week the facility was 95% booked with guests, some who were attending a national wakeboard championship event right next door at the Elite Cable Park.

Camp Margaritaville features 325 RV sites on the property and 75 cabins. Travelling down the paved streets of the park you see tiki huts popping up here and there. Every site features a picnic table and charcoal grill, but some also feature tiki bars complete with a working sink at the amenity. There are 2 playgrounds on-site, 2 basketball courts, as well as 3 dog parks and 2 dog spa stations for quick cleaning and grooming. The center of the property features the main pool, camp store, tiki hut and band stage, mini golf area, and a pizzeria. Along Lake Myrtle are some of the newest amenities: a large tiki bar, swimming pool, and a dock to watch wakeboarding over at the Elite Cable Park on one side and the eagle preservation area on the other side.

Camp Margaritaville’s location next the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex lends itself as a great place for guests to stay during our yearly sporting events. We are happy to see the business succeed in its endeavors and enjoy the good vibrations that they bring to Auburndale. Sail on Sailor.
