Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd Attends Florida Supervisors of Elections Conference

Announcement

Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd attended his first Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) Conference since being appointed Secretary of State on May 17, 2022.

"It was a privilege to attend the Florida Supervisors of Elections Conference this week and get to meet with Supervisors from across the state," said Secretary Byrd. "I am looking forward to working with all of the Supervisors as we gear up for the 2022 elections and continue to make sure Florida leads the way in election security."

During the FSE Conference, Florida Supervisors of Elections, their staff, state officials, and Division of Elections staff met to attend presentations, review changes to election legislation, and of course, discuss election integrity and security in Florida.

"The FSE is a nonprofit association representing the Supervisors of Elections from all of Florida's 67 counties," said Mark Earley, Leon County Supervisor of Elections and new FSE President. "Collectively, we endeavor to be a community of shared opinions and best practices on election issues and policy. We look forward to working with Secretary Byrd in furthering our goal of ensuring all Florida elections are conducted accurately and remain accessible to all voters with the transparency and integrity expected by Florida citizens."
