"I am thrilled to welcome Michael to our outstanding Broward County executive team," said County Administrator Cepero." Michael has dedicated his career to professional government administration and we are fortunate that he is bringing that diverse experience, dedication and passion to our Broward County family."

Ruiz received his Master of Business Administration from Florida International University, Chapman Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts at Duke University.
