City’s Parks & Recreation to Offer No School Field Trip on Friday, February 18

City of Kissimmee issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.

The City of Kissimmee’s Parks and Recreation Department will offer a No School Field Trip on Friday, February 18, 2022, for participants from K to 5th grade (students must be five years old).  The Field Trip is to Crayola Experience and students must meet at the Oak Street Park Community Center, located at 717 N. Palm Avenue in Kissimmee. 

Due to COVID-19, Parks & Recreation follows the Florida Department of Health and Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines in providing these services. These guidelines were designed to keep participants, staff, and parents safe and ask that participants review the registration packet to know what to expect.

Some important information: 

  • Camp is 7:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Drop off is between 7:15 a.m. – 8:00 a.m., and pick up is between 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Fee: $20 per child
  • Camp location: Oak Street Park Community Center, 717 N. Palm Avenue, Kissimmee, Fl 34744
  • Individuals authorized for pick up must be at least 16 years of age and show their photo identification
  • Lunch/snack are not provided. Refrigerators and microwaves are not available to store or heat lunches.
  • Registration received after February 14 are subject to a $10 late fee pending availability.
Registration must be completed online through Webtrac at www.kissimmeeparks.org or by stopping at the Oak Street Park Community Center or call 407.518.2360.
