County of Citrus issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
Beginning on Monday, January 3 and continuing for the first few months of 2022, citizens should expect single-lane closures on weekdays between 7:00am and 5:00pm along N Forest Ridge Blvd, from County Road 486 / Norvell Bryant Hwy to W Lake Beverly Dr. An around-the-clock closure is also in place on northbound Forest Ridge Blvd from north of W Sugarmaple Lane to north of W Roosevelt Blvd through approximately March 2022. These closures are for construction of a “Safe Routes to Schools” sidewalk project that is expected to be completed in spring 2022.
To allow full roadway access during peak school drop-off and pickup times, lane closures will not be permitted on school days from 8:45am to 9:15am or 3:30pm to 4:00pm.
