Roy Exum, a proud conservative, criticized liberals for their social media censorship. He called them out for controlling the triumvirate of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and YouTube) and other major media outlets. He said on The Chattanoogan that liberals cancel any messages that they do not like and added, “this is a direct assault on the Sherman Antitrust Act and cannot be allowed in a nation where freedom is our cornerstone.”

Other like-minded individuals such as Fla. Gov. Ron DeSantis has the same concerns. DeSantis spoke with Newsmax TV and said that Big Tech censorship is nothing more than “political manipulation” and that Florida will fight against this and he is confident that other states would follow suit. He doubled down on his accusation that social media sites use censorship to silence conservative voices when he said, "You go back 10 years, you didn't have this type of censorship…”

On the other side of the political aisle, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.  was banned by Instagram due to his controversial anti-vaccination posts. When asked to comment about the ban, Kennedy said, “This kind of censorship is counterproductive. . .”
