CITY OF JUPITER: Ignite the Fight - Virtual Challenge

Ignite

City of Jupiter recently issued the following announcement.

Looking for ways to stay healthy and active?  Join the City of Palm Beach Gardens and the Town of Jupiter for a new virtual fitness challenge called Ignite the Fight!  North County residents can get outside, get active and enjoy some friendly virtual competition all while supporting a good cause.

Ignite the Fight challenges our communities to complete a 5K walk, run, bike, hike, swim or row anywhere and anytime during the month of October 2020.  Participants will receive an event shirt and medal before October, and we encourage you to wear your shirt when completing the challenge.  You can share photos of your race with us on social media, using the hashtag #IgniteTheFightChallenge and even upload your race time to the event website!  During the month of November, we’ll be highlighting top times and event photos on the Ignite the Fight Facebook event page.

Event proceeds from the Ignite the Fight Virtual Challenge will benefit Firefighters to the Rescue, Inc., a non-profit organization that is founded on the profound need to help other public servants and their families in the community.  Firefighters to the Rescue raises money to help families of firefighters, law enforcement, EMS providers, and other first responders during times of need.  Your participation in this fun virtual challenge helps to support families in our communities who have dedicated themselves to public service.
