City of Port Lucie issued the following announcement on Aug. 10
Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) has scheduled a full closure of northbound and southbound Florida’s Turnpike/State Road (SR) 91 between Becker Road (Exit 138) and Port St. Lucie Boulevard (Exit 142), to allow crews to perform road work.
To perform this work, traffic will be detoured during the following dates and times:
Northbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 between Becker Road (Exit 138) and Port St. Lucie Boulevard (Exit 142)
Overnight full road closure, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, August 10, and Tuesday August 11.
Detour information:
- Northbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 traffic wishing to continue north will be directed to exit at Becker Road (Exit 138), travel west on Becker Road to I-95, travel north on I-95 to Gatlin Boulevard (Exit 118), travel east on Gatlin Boulevard to Port St. Lucie Boulevard and travel east on Port St. Lucie Boulevard to access northbound Florida’s Turnpike.
- Eastbound and westbound Becker Road traffic wishing to access northbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 will be directed to I-95, travel north on I-95 to Gatlin Boulevard (Exit 118), travel east on Gatlin Boulevard to Port St. Lucie Boulevard and travel east on Port St. Lucie Boulevard to access northbound Florida’s Turnpike.
Overnight full road closure, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, and Thursday, August 13.

- Southbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 traffic wishing to continue south will be directed to exit at Port St. Lucie Boulevard (Exit 142), travel west on Port St. Lucie Boulevard to Gatlin Boulevard, travel west on Gatlin Boulevard to I-95, travel south on I-95 to Becker Road (Exit 114) and travel east on Becker Road to access southbound Florida’s Turnpike.
- Eastbound and westbound Port St. Lucie Boulevard traffic wishing to access southbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 will be directed to Gatlin Boulevard, travel west on Gatlin Boulevard to I-95, travel south on I-95 to Becker Road (Exit 114) and travel east on Becker Road to access southbound Florida’s Turnpike.
