Jessica Corin Mangano, a 35-year-old resident of St. Cloud, has been sentenced to 12 years and 7 months in federal prison for distributing, receiving, and possessing child sexual abuse material. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Carlos E. Mendoza following Mangano’s guilty plea on February 27, 2025.

Court documents and evidence presented during the sentencing detailed that Mangano distributed and received videos showing the violent sexual abuse of infants, toddlers, and other young children. She also sent images of two children to men she knew and described her intent to rape these children or watch others do so. A search of Mangano’s cellphone found 81 images and 295 videos containing child sexual abuse material.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation into Mangano’s activities. Assistant United States Attorneys Kaley Austin-Aronson and Chauncey A. Bratt prosecuted the case.

“This is another case brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Led by the United States Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue child victims.
