Common Cause is set to host the first in a series of press briefings under the title “Protecting Democracy in the South.” The focus will be on voting rights concerns and legislative updates for southern states.

The briefing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14, at 12:00 p.m. ET. State leaders will discuss new voting rights, ethics, and other democracy-related policy issues as they prepare for the upcoming legislative session at the state level.
