North Florida Baseball secured an 11-2 win over Florida A&M at Harmon Stadium on April 14, improving its season record to 21-15.

The victory was driven by strong offensive performances, including two three-run innings in the fifth and eighth frames. Eight Ospreys in the starting lineup recorded hits. Redshirt sophomore outfielder Carter White led with a standout game, going 3-for-5 with one home run, six runs batted in (RBI), and two runs scored. His solo home run in the seventh inning marked his third homer over North Florida’s last four home games and brought his season total to eight, ranking second on the team.

Junior outfielder Gialdri Gomez contributed by going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Gomez extended his hitting streak to eight games and has now reached base safely in eighteen consecutive games. Freshman infielder Drew Buchanan hit a go-ahead solo home run in the fourth inning for his second of the season.

Florida A&M began with two runs in the first inning before North Florida tied it up in the third frame on White’s two-RBI single. The Ospreys took control after Buchanan’s homer and continued building their lead through contributions from Toberman, Beau Rurey, and others across subsequent innings.

Joseph Dimino earned the win for North Florida, pitching 2.1 scoreless innings while allowing just one hit. Karson Lindsey took the loss for Florida A&M.

North Florida will return to Harmon Stadium for a weekend series against Stetson beginning Friday, April 17.
