The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has expressed support for Governor DeSantis’s appointment of Blaise Ingoglia as Florida’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director, stated, “We are pleased to see state Sen. Ingoglia selected as Florida’s next CFO.” He praised Ingoglia’s advocacy for small businesses and highlighted his role in eliminating the business rent tax.
Herrle also noted Ingoglia’s opposition to a Department of Revenue initiative that would have negatively impacted small businesses during tax audits. “We are confident Sen. Ingoglia will continue to prioritize reducing regulations on small businesses in his new role,” Herrle added.
Ingoglia, who recently achieved a 100% NFIB voting record, is succeeding Jimmy Patronis, who has moved on to represent FL-01 in Congress.
