Jacksonville University beach volleyball will start postseason play at the 2026 ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship in Huntsville, Alabama, beginning Wednesday, April 22.

The Dolphins are entering the tournament as the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 North Alabama at noon Eastern Time on Wednesday. The team is seeking its first-ever win against North Alabama and needs just one more victory to set a new program record for wins in a single season.

If Jacksonville wins its opening match, it will advance to play the winner of No. 1 Stetson versus No. 8 Austin Peay at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Thursday. If they lose, they will move into the elimination bracket with another chance to compete later that afternoon.

This season has been notable for Jacksonville’s balanced performance across its lineup, with six individual seasons ranking among the top marks in program history. Katie Martinez leads with 19 wins and was named Second Team All-ASUN, while Morgan Perry follows closely with 18 victories. Claire Mrukowski and Megan Hair have played as the top pairing all season, combining for 32 wins; Mrukowski earned First Team All-ASUN honors and Hair was named both Second Team All-ASUN and to the All-Freshman Team after posting a record-tying number of freshman wins.

At the No. 5 position, Katie Martinez teamed up with Maddie Fiedler to form one of Jacksonville’s most reliable pairs this year; Fiedler also made the All-Freshman Team after recording sixteen victories alongside Martinez’s nineteen. Earlier this season, they were recognized as ASUN Pair of the Week following an undefeated weekend at North Florida.
