A Honduran citizen, Marvin Wilton Max Ayala, has been sentenced to 27 months in federal prison for illegally reentering the United States after multiple removals. U.S. District Judge Jacqueline Becerra issued the sentence, which will be followed by three years of supervised release, after Max Ayala pleaded guilty.

During his previous stays in the U.S., Max Ayala was convicted of additional crimes, including an attempted forgery offense in Texas in 2021.
Upon completion of his prison term, Max Ayala is set to be removed from the United States again.
