WASHINGTON, D.C. – On January 8, Senator Rick Scott and Mrs. Ann Scott announced they will donate a portion of his Senate salary to the Navy SEAL Foundation. The Navy SEAL Foundation provides critical support for the warriors, veterans and families of Naval Special Warfare. Senator Scott has donated his Senate salary since taking office in 2019.

Senator Rick Scott said, “Ann and I are proud to support an organization whose mission means so much to us, the Navy SEAL Foundation. Ann and I both come from military families, and I was proud to serve in the U.S. Navy. We know well that our men and women in uniform and their families make so many sacrifices on behalf of our nation. That’s why it’s a top priority of ours to give back to those who dedicate their lives to this nation and defend our freedoms. We’re glad to support the Navy SEAL Foundation and its commitment to helping special forces members and their families succeed during their time in service and when transitioning into civilian life.”

Bill Strong, Navy SEAL Foundation Evening of Tribute Chairman, said, “We are delighted that Senator Rick Scott and Mrs. Ann Scott are once again supporting the Navy SEAL Foundation Naples Evening of Tribute. Thanks to their generosity and the generosity of other leading patrons, we will raise a record amount of money in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation on January 11th.”
