Governor Ron DeSantis, alongside Kevin Guthrie, the Executive Director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), visited areas affected by Hurricane Debby to evaluate damage and discuss recovery options with residents and businesses.

“Activate Hope is live now to help connect Floridians with outside resources to provide food, household goods, home repairs, and more,” a statement from the Governor’s office said. This initiative is part of the Hope Florida program and involves collaboration between private sectors, nonprofits, and government resources to aid recovery efforts after natural disasters.

The State Assistance Information Line (SAIL) has been activated for those in need post-Hurricane Debby. Residents can reach out at 1-800-342-3557 for assistance in English or Spanish.

Residents are encouraged to follow FDEM on social media platforms such as X, Instagram, and Facebook for ongoing updates. Additional information related to Hurricane Debby can be found at FloridaDisaster.org/Updates.
