A federal jury in Orlando has convicted Joshua Keith Davis, 53, of Jacksonville, on multiple charges related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The verdict includes five counts of production of CSAM, five counts of distribution, and one count of possession. Sentencing is scheduled for October 29, 2025.

According to evidence presented at trial, Davis produced CSAM involving infants between 2011 and 2013. He distributed the material online to several individuals and was found in possession of such material in 2022.

The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney Noah P. Dorman and Special Assistant United States Attorney Rachel S. Lyons are prosecuting the case.

U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe stated: “This is another case brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Led by the United States Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue victims.” Additional information about Project Safe Childhood can be found at www.justice.gov/psc.

Davis faces a minimum sentence of 15 years up to 30 years for each production offense; a minimum sentence of five years up to 20 years for each distribution offense; and up to 20 years for possession.
