Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson criticized politicians for allowing the war in Ukraine to continue.

“The war in Ukraine is a red line for a lot of people in business and politics,” Tucker Carlson told podcast host Russell Brand. “You see it in our politics in the US where the leaders of the Republican Party in the Congress, who like are repulsive, in my view, are now supporting sending cluster bombs to Ukraine.”

“The US could force a peace like tonight, they could, uniquely,” said Carlson. “They have that power, and they won’t, and they’re continuing to allow Ukrainians to be killed and the country to be devastated.”

Carlson, 54, is the former host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Fox News. He was fired by the network suddenly in April. 2023. He is the founder of the news website, “The Daily Caller,” and and previously was a host on the CNN show, “Crossfire, “ and host of the MSNBC show, “Tucker.”

A resident of Florida’s Gasparilla Island, Carlson started hosting a new show, Tucker Carlson on Twitter, in May 2023.

Brand, 48, is an English comedian and actor and host of the “Stay Free” show on Rumble. He said Carlson would have “more power than ever” hosting a show on an “independent news space” like Twitter.
